Have you always been into sport?

Yes, I have always been into sport. When I was five years old I start swimming, then I played football for 20 years and now from 3 years I run on foot and on my bikes, both race bike and mountain bike.

How did you first get into triathlon?

I entered in triathlon to push myself to the limit because I wanted to be like the IRONMAN that I saw in Venice some years ago.

What has been your favourite race to date and why?

My favourite race has been obviously here in my city, in Venice/Mestre. Because it’s been so wonderful to see very great athletes here in the streets where I train myself everyday!

What is your proudest achievement?

I don’t have yet any wonderful results but I’m working on to reach it as soon as possible!

Have you ever had any racing disasters?

Yes, I had a disaster. It was raining, I was on my bike...I started to turn...and the bike fall off. Nothing hurt, but what an accident!

How do you overcome setbacks?

You overcome setbacks stopping for a moment, analysing yourself and then pushing over the limits as much as you can! Physically and mentally!!

What advice do you wish you'd been given when you first started out?

When I started out, I wanted that someone told me how difficult it was, but when the difficulty is high the satisfaction is bigger!

What are your goals?

My goals are to participate in as many races as I can and starting to win something.

Who inspires you?

I am inspired by many athletes but the one I prefer is Alessandro Degasperi.
