Natasha Allcock - Athlete Ambassador
Have you always been into sport?
Yes ever since I can remember, it’s a part of me and I wouldn’t know what to do without it!
What’s been your favourite race to date and why?
That’s a tough decision, but it would have to be Edinburgh Marathon, the journey to get to the race start was massive for me as it was my first ever marathon. The day itself was a rollercoaster of emotions, alongside some crazy weather!
What is your proudest achievement?
Although not related to triathlon, I was part of the GB junior climbing team for a few years! This has to be my proudest sporting achievement to date!
Have you ever had any racing disasters or what has been your toughest race yet?
My toughest race has to be the off road trail half marathon that I did in the winter. Frozen mud and ice made for interesting running! There were times I wanted to give up the whole way around!
How do you overcome setbacks?
I talk to my closest friends and my parents and then I look at what I do currently have in my life that I can focus on.
What advice do you wish you'd been given before you started competing?
Your life isn’t determined by the outcome of a race or competition, enjoy it and have fun!
What are your goals for 2021?
My main goal this year is to get a PB at the Brighton Marathon.
