Have you always been into sport?
Yes, since I was 5 years old.
What made you decide to enter the world of triathlon?
A family friend competes in Ironman so I was inspired to give it a go.
What’s been your favourite race to date and why?
Winning the open British motocross championship and it meant so much as I suffered an injury during the season but never gave up and managed to still clinch the championship
And your proudest achievement?
Representing some of the biggest brands when competing and being able to give a little back
Have you ever had any racing disasters/your toughest race yet?
Broken bones when competing and my first crit race in the elite/1/2/3 category was tough
How do you overcome setbacks?
You have to stay mentally strong and it has to be mind over body every time.
What advice do you wish you'd been given before you started competing?
Enjoy the ride and savour the moment a little longer.
What are your goals for 2019?
To become an elite rider and earn a national title in mountain bike cross country.
Who do you take your inspiration from?
The bad injuries over the years and other athletes who have overcome the same.
What do you like about Sundried and what’s your favourite bit of our kit?
