Please tell us about sporting events you have taken part in or have coming up.Â
I am a UKBFF Bikini Athlete, I have competed 3 times overall and made it to the British Finals in 2015. Since then I have focused on my online business and my clients' goals. I look to compete in 2018!Â
Tell us about your journey to fitness? Where did it all start?
My journey started from a negative place and grew into a passion. At the age of 17, I developed an eating disorder which took over my life for 3 years. I reached my smallest size at a size 2. But, through educating myself and learning how to train well, eat well, and love my body I have transformed what used to be my punishment into my passion and my goal is now to educate and inspire other women.Â
What are your training goals now?
To develop lean muscle and strength!
Tell us one unusual fact we wouldn’t know about you:
I always wear odd socks. Always!Â
What would future you, tell yourself when you were starting out?
Stop comparing yourself to others. You are you and that is what makes you unique.
Do you follow a specific nutrition plan? If so, what/when do you eat?
I follow a "clean eating" style diet. I stick to nutritious wholesome foods. Mainly grains, lean meats, unsaturated fats, and the odd supplement.Â
What do you do to keep your clients motivated? Do you have any top tips to keep motivated?
I keep my clients motivated by keeping them supported. Whenever they have a bad day they know I am there to give them advice, and a little kick to keep going! If you do something you actually enjoy, and if you have a strong personal reason for doing it, it's much easier to keep doing it!
Talk us through your training regime.
I train 5-6 times a week. A mix of strength and hypertrophy. No cardio for me at the minute!Â
How do you keep your fitness knowledge up to date?
I am always reading, listening to podcasts and following the experts in the business.Â
If you could only do one workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Glutes of course! Can't have the booty shrinking!Â
What are your training goals?
To become stronger, more powerful, and build more muscle.Â
