I live in a small town not far from Edinburgh, Scotland with my husband Graeme and our rather spoilt old dog Charlie. I’m all about the Hygge (or colsie as it’s known here in Scotland) lifestyle, and will always choose a night in over a night out.
I believe we should choose quality over quantity and that it’s important to slow down and appreciate life’s little luxuries from that hot cup of tea in the morning to climbing into fresh clean sheets at the end of the day. It’s the little things which make me smile every day.
Choosing to live a more natural, simple and sustainable lifestyle shouldn’t involve sacrificing the things you love. Instead, it’s about making small changes which fit your lifestyle and asking questions. It’s about showing kindness and thought through your choices and being aware of their impact on other people and the planet.
