Fitbit Step-a-thon Sports Relief

Fitbit is taking its mission one step further by teaming up with Sports Relief this February to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world’s poorest countries. Every step you take can now make a difference not just to your life, but to the lives of others as well.

Fitbit’s ‘BIG BILLION Step-a-thon’ launched on the 1st February and is very simple in its concept. All you need to do is register and then for every billion steps we take together, Fitbit will be donating £50,000 to Sports Relief. The aim is to take enough #stepsforgood to get Fitbit to reach a total donation of £250,000 - that’s equivalent to 5 billion steps.

If you don’t already have a Fitbit tracker, Fitbit is also donating a percentage of their sales to Sports Relief for a limited time only. For each Fitbit Flex, Fitbit ChargeHR, and Fitbit Blaze activity tracker sold on Fitbit's website, £5, £7, and £20 respectively will be donated to Sport Relief. Donations will be made on products purchased before 30th May 2016. Fitbit will donate on sales up to £250,000.

So now there’s yet another good reason to get walking. What are you waiting for? Get stepping and get hashtagging #stepsforgood to spread the word.
