A jumping squat is a variation on the body weight squat which will increase your lung capacity and improve your cardiovascular fitness. It will also target a deep burn in the glutes, hamstrings, and quads which will in turn tone and strengthen your legs and bum.
To perform a jumping squat, start in a standing position. Sink into a deep squat with your arms outstretched. Spring up from the squat and jump as high as you can off the floor. Use your arms to propel you and keep your head and chest up the whole time. Keep the movement flowing and complete as many reps as you can.
