Cycling Weekly Appeals To Public After Monumental Theft
Cycling Weekly Magazine has suffered a colossal theft of over £150,000 worth of cycling products, including 27 top end road bikes.
The hundreds of thousands of pounds of cycling products and equipment were stolen from three vans parked in the car park of the Cherry Hall Hotel in Blyth, near Worksop, in Nottinghamshire sometime between the evening of Thursday, November 23 and morning of Friday, November 24. The theft was discovered at 07.30am Friday morning. The bikes and products had been awaiting a photo shoot for the Cycling Weekly Editor's Choice Awards.
The Cycling Weekly staff are hoping that after a public appeal and work with the police they can recover some or most of the stolen goods. They have asked the public to keep an eye out for any of the below products which may appear for sale on e-commerce websites such as Craigslist or eBay or to keep an eye out for anything suspicious relating to bicycle sales.
