Have you always been into sport?
I always have been but only recently have I really got into running and cycling, beforehand I was heavily into football.
How did you first get into triathlon?
From a young boy I used to go mountain biking with my dad a lot and cycle everywhere but it wasn't until my love for running when I thought a triathlon could be worth a go as I was quick with both cycling and running and after seeing people do Ironman Triathlon I was inspired to get started.
What has been your favourite race to date and why?
Berlin Marathon 2019 as the whole race plan went as expected and I ran in memory of my Grandad who passed earlier that year.
What is your proudest achievement?
Running a 40 mile off road ultra marathon.
Have you ever had any racing disasters?
At the Benidorm 10k I was on target for a PB at the half way point and had a massive nose bleed, after running for half a mile I was told to stop by a marshal to get checked.
How do you overcome setbacks?
Looking back and previous results and what I've done to drive myself.
What advice do you wish you'd been given when you first started out?
To keep at it and don't start giving up at 18.
What are your goals?
To run a sub 2:30 marathon, a 100 mile Ultra and complete a full Ironman.
Who inspires you?
My Dad, My Grandad and the Instagram Community.
