Have you always been into sport?
As a family we always cycled, I always enjoyed cycling holidays in the French Alps. Living in Yorkshire we have gorgeous countryside to cycle round…shame about all the hills.
If you're interested in starting your own fitness journey, Sundried's Activewear is suitable for people of all abilities.
What is your proudest achievement?
I’ve currently challenged myself to cycle 500 miles in June for charity. It’s great to be outside on my bike clocking up the mileage and doing it for a good cause.
Have you ever had any racing disasters?
I had a really bad accident in Hawes where a rock got caught in my wheel and i did a summersault over my handle bars. That was a painful one.
How do you overcome setbacks?
I always stay positive, pick yourself back up and go again.
What advice do you wish you'd been given when you first started out?
I go by two quotes: 'It doesn't matter how fast or how far you go, all that matters is that you went' and if all fails 'Eat pasta and ride fasta'.
What are your goals?
In myself I cycle to stay healthy and become fitter.
Why work with Sundried?
