Have you always been into sport?
I’ve always been in sport as it’s something I’ve always found fun and enjoyable.
How did you first get into triathlon?
I first got into triathlon to find something that would make me tired as rugby didn’t seem to do it and I already swam at a low level and was a good runner so I just gave it a shot.
What has been your favourite race to date and why?
My favourite race to day has to be racing in the British Super Series in Mallory because it’s such a quick source.
What is your proudest achievement?
2nd in Welsh Aquathlon champs and 3rd in indoor and outdoor 3000m welsh athletics championships. Or getting into the Welsh development Academy.
Have you ever had any racing disasters?
Yes I crashed and scratched my knee up quite badly after getting my foot stuck in the pedal.
How do you overcome setbacks?
I always find setting a plan with someone and working on a way back is the best way to overcome a problem.
What advice do you wish you'd been given when you first started out?
It’s a long hard road but it’s worth the pain.
What are your goals?
To qualify for the junior European championships and the 2022 commonwealth games
Who inspires you?
My triathlon coach Rhys.
